Over the weekend, Millets of Bracknell offered their sponsorship to the boys, agreeing to a 20% discount on any and all items purchased from them. Two 25 litre water cans were promptly snapped up, and the boys set about mounting them to Valerie along with the jerry cans that were provided by Wingate Electrical. Team First Gear will be driving to Mongolia in aid of the Cambridge Mongolian Disaster Appeal (CAMDA) and the Childrens Development and Protection fund (CDPF).

All money raised through our fundraising efforts will go directly to CAMDA via our Just Giving page. However, you are more than welcome to donate money directly to the team via the PayPal button at the bottom, as we will be in need of food and fuel along the way!

what happens to the car when you arrive in mongolia?

Valerie, our ageing, slow, slightly musty smelling but nonetheless trusted steed will be donated to the CDPF upon arrival in Ulaan Bataar. They will either use her to help the projects operating out in Mongolia, or she will be auctioned off, proceeds of which will go directly to the charity.
