The Route map has just been updated so you can get a much better idea of where we will be going and what sort of terrain we'll be driving through.

what's this all about then?

Team First Gear consists of Paul Mason (Right) Kevin Neill (Left) and Valerie Vitara (Centre). We were formed when Andy Neill, Kevin's father and owner of www.1stgearmtc.co.uk accepted Kevin's most generous offer of sponsorship in return for not scrounging the money off him for nothing! Valerie was promptly snapped up for the princely sum of £450 from eBay and a beautiful thing had begun...

Team First Gear have entered into a rally organised by Go Help, a UK based charity created to promote an ethical model of charity rallying. The boys will be leaving from London, England on the 5th July 2008 and heading for the capital of Mongolia, Ulaan Bataar in aid of the Children's Development and Protection Fund (CDPF) and CAMDA. The aim of our participation in the rally is to:

  • Raise over £1,000 for the listed charities.
  • Raise awareness of the charities involved.
  • Provide the CDPF with a useable 4x4 vehicle.
